Thank you for another fun and successful tournament season!



Final trophy points for the 2024 season have been uploaded under the scores section.  Trophies were awarded at the season picnic to the top 4 places in each age category and flight (only for golfers who played in at least 4 events during the season).  

Any unclaimed trophies can be picked up next season at one of the opening tournaments.

Thanks to all for another awesome season of junior golf.  We hope to see you in 2025!

2024 Year End Picnic

Please join us for our end of year celebration and trophy presentation

Menu - Fried Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Pizza, Sandwiches and drinks - all provided by SPJGT

We ask that all families attending bring a side dish, appetizer, or dessert for approximately 10-15 people.  I ask that you please sign up at the next few tournaments so we can get a head count for ordering.  A sign-up sheet and more information will be at the registration table. 

Cost is $10/family

If your last name begins with:
A-F, please bring an appetizer
G-M, please bring some type of salad
N-Z, please bring a dessert


We will also award our year end trophies to our flight winners and 2nd through 4th places.  Also, our year-end Male and Female players of the year will be announced.  A player must have competed in four events to be eligible for a trophy.  Point standings and flights will be available sometime after the Cedarbrook event and updated after each subsequent event.

Once again, please sign up as early as possible to help us count the number attending.

Parent Volunteers Needed

The parent volunteer link is live and listed below.  Parents are asked to volunteer for at least 50% of the tournaments in which their junior golfer participates.  We are thankful for our parent volunteers who help make our program a success!

HELP WANTED:  SPJGT Website Administrator

We are looking for a volunteer (or two) to take over the website administrator responsibilities for next year.   No programming experience required!  Website uses Weebly, which is an intuitive, drop and drag application.   For more information or interest, please send inquiries to Tour Director, Randy Mocello.

Together we are better!  As a reminder, we ask that you volunteer for 50% of the tournaments in which your child participates.

We are excited and thankful to the USGA and the West Penn Golf Association, in particular
​Mr. Terry Teasdale, for their involvement guiding The Tour through the on-line registration, tee time and scoring system implemented in 2019.

Our thanks to Mr. Jon Vallina for his investment and involvement in the Tour for 30 years, 28 as President and for the team he built over the years!  Under Mr. Vallina's leadership, the Tour now has a very deep and wide team of full-time volunteers to serve the junior golfers of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
