TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Tournament #2:
When:  Friday, June 12th
Where:  Ponderosa Golf Course
Start Time:  7:00 am
Course Information: 
- Golfers and volunteers should check-in at least 15 minutes PRIOR to their tee time.
- The golf range will NOT be available for use.
- The snack bar and restaurant will be open. Thank you for supporting them with your patronage and helping to make this event possible.
- Rain rarely stops us! Tournament cancellations due to weather are uncommon, so please plan on the event taking place and come prepare for conditions. 

Tournament #3:
When:  Tuesday, July 16th
Where:  Fort Cherry Golf Course
Start Time:  7:00 am

SEASON END PICNIC AND TROPHY CELEBRATION

The season end picnic will be on
Monday, July 27th 2026
6pm at Washington Park

Parent Volunteers Needed

The parent volunteer link is live and listed below. Southwest PA Junior Golf Tour relies on volunteers to assist on the day of the event. You are required to sign up for AT LEAST half of the tournaments that your youth golfer is registered to play. For example, if your golfer is registered for 8 events, you must select AT LEAST 4 tournaments to volunteer. Failure to volunteer for at least half of the events, or not showing up when scheduled to volunteer, may cause your player to be withdrawn from event(s).

HELP WANTED: 
​SPJGT Website Administrator

We are looking for a volunteer (or two) to take over the website administrator responsibilities for next year. No programming experience is required! The website uses Weebly, which is an intuitive, drop-and-drag application. For more information or interest, please send inquiries to Tour Director, Randy Mocello.
Parent Volulnteer Assignments will be sent via email and available via a link under the Tee Times tab several days in advance of each tournament.

When the information is published, please review for ommisions or incorrect spelling and notify Randy Mocello.

We are excited and thankful to the USGA and the West Penn Golf Association, in particular
​Mr. Terry Teasdale, for their involvement guiding The Tour through the on-line registration, tee time and scoring system implemented in 2019.

Our thanks to Mr. Jon Vallina for his investment and involvement in the Tour for 30 years, 28 as President and for the team he built over the years!  Under Mr. Vallina's leadership, the Tour now has a very deep and wide team of full-time volunteers to serve the junior golfers of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
